Junior Achievement of Central North Carolina

Junior Achievement volunteers come from diverse age groups, backgrounds and occupations.
Business professionals, senior citizens, retirees, parents and college students all take time out of their busy schedules to teach kids how business works. Diverse experiences and perspectives are an asset in the classroom. Check out our Volunteer Opportunity Description.

Whatever the Junior Achievement program, the volunteer should strive to make the message age appropriate. Like any other personal or professional commitment, reliability is critical; students will be counting on them. And, above all, as role models, Junior Achievement volunteers must exhibit a high level of integrity. See Volunteer Conduct Standards.

See Programs to learn more about what our volunteers teach. All lesson plans and materials are provided for your convenience.
